Chef, Author, and Culinary TV Personality, Chef Chris Binotto is a nationally recognized chef known for blending refined technique with bold, fire-driven culinary experiences.

Born into a culinary family, Chris developed a passion for cooking at an early age. As a teenager, he trained under James Beard Award–winning chef Jimmy Schmidt and has since worked alongside acclaimed chefs including Graham Elliot, Bobby Flay, and Masaharu Morimoto, contributing to kitchens that earned two Michelin stars and a Forbes Five-Star Award along the way.

Throughout his career, Chris has opened and led numerous kitchens across the country, including House of Macau, Beetle House, and Karnevil, among others. He is currently Executive Chef and owner of Embers & Ash, a live-fire, primal cooking experience based in Southern California.

In addition to his restaurant work, Chris has appeared across major food television programming. Most recently Chef Chris earned a victory over renowned chef Bobby Flay on Food Networks Beat Bobby Flay. His other television credits include Chopped, Gastornauts, BBQ Brawl, Cutthroat Kitchen.

Chris currently resides in Los Angeles with his family and splits his time between culinary projects and kitchens in New York and Los Angeles.
